Agree about plot holes and prefer stranger things but the bat crazy character development kept us engaged. Similar to the film K-Pax in some ways...

This and only this. Quite simply one of the greatest shows ever made. And I don't say that lightly. Superbly acted, written and directed. Better than most English language shows out there. Crack on mate because it gets better and better even when you think it can't. Only me and a pal are only ones who have seen it. Shame.

Yep, I knew that he based his character on somebody that also wore pearly white shoes.
I personally wore boots because I fractured my ankle wearing trainers on my bike.
I also wouldn't wear shorts on my bike (like he did in the show) after having road rash scrubbed out of my legs on more than one occasion and seeing friends with 2nd degree burnt calf's from red hot tailpipes. Maybe I'm a dentist too. ; )
