TV Series

I watched Dexter for two and a half series before getting fed up with the same old stuff happening. I did really like it at first and think the star is a good actor but I couldn't stand his sister or the police boss.

I've watched 3 or 4 eps of 'Sense8' and it just ain't grabbing me.

It's slow going, but I watched 2 in a row to see if it was was me, but no.

Might try again when the good stuff is off season!

It gets better and better, especially when you start to understand what's going on. I thought I was bad at not giving shows a chance.

Don't know if it's been mentioned at all on this thread yet but there's a TV series of Snatch coming out this year. Last I heard was that it's actually being produced for Sony's American streaming service and they haven't picked up a UK distributer yet.

To be honest, it looks like a pile of shite from the trailer:

I helped with one of their sets without initially knowing what it was for and from the bits I was involved in it looks like they're incorporating elements of Lock Stock. I was a big fan of the films as a kid (not so much now) and so I'm still hoping to be pleasantly surprised when it comes out. It does seriously look shit though.

Finished Mad Men all 7 seasons .......good but not brilliant and disappointed with the ending. Still find it amazing how passengers were allowed to smoke on flights.

Binge watched first 4 episodes of Homeland new season earlier. Great, but now a bit same old same old.

Second episode of Legion was as big a mind fuck as the first. Really enjoying this show.

'Legion' seems pretty special so far. The cohesion of writing of events is pretty high for a show like this.

For me, I don't feel lost within what's happening cos the writers keep you onside.

Just worried the standard might fall...

On a different subject I'm actually enjoying 'The New Edition Story' biopic!! If you like a bit of RnB, you'll like this!!

The songs take me back!
