TV Series

Loved Spooks, featured Miranda Raison who is in Dark Heart starting this week, she was on Breakfast TV this morning, utterly stunning at 40 years plus.

Yes never went in there but heard quite a few of the old names did Robidoux, cokey Stevens etc. I did once have a game with Jim Wych in the academy of spherical arts in Liberty Village.
Sniff Thorburn and Coke Stevens, Bill Werbenek, Alex Higgins, who would have thought snooker players were addicts? Big Bill did an exhibition in Stockport for William Hill and drank a boatload, dropped his cue on a couple of occasions but still rattled in a ton break, his girlfriend drank about half what he did which must have equaled about 10 pints!

Anyway me and the wife have nothing to do now,any recommendations?

I'm struggling for TV series at the minute they all seem to be bloody super hero ones or about drug gangs.

The first series of True Detective is up there as one of my absolute favourite tele programmes I’ve ever seen.

Series two is decent enough, it went quiet on it for ages but a third series is upcoming!

“...it looks like the tone is much more in keeping with the first season.”

“HBO has confirmed that True Detective will return to our screens in January 2019.”

Top banana!

Just re-watching the Detectorists - never ever come across such a delightful whimsical and funny series as this - truly a work of genius by McKenzie Crook and I love it to bits.

I've yet to see European series but I've watched the Mexican border equivalent and I really enjoyed it.
