She's being played by a black girl even though she is white in the books.
Is her skin colour integral to the story? If not, I don't see the problem/relevance.

Just noticed this show, let the binge commence!Watched the first 2 episodes of Narcos Mexico. Excellent !!!
Really enjoying Billions, Paul Giamotti is so good in this. Sly, nasty fucker haha
It's one of those shows you watch, but only because you want it to end, and would be happy with a complete bloodbath to ensure no return.Giamatti is the only one who hams it up just enough to make the show great!!
The others are out of their depth when it comes to emotion nuance.
Up to episode 6 of Narcos Mexico, not bad at all. It can't have the fresh feel the first season did or indeed have the same punch simply due to Pablo being the biggest of the big, anything else is not as grand.
With that in mind it is a good show, it does feel as though some parts could be given a few extra minutes back story or elaboration. Some parts you have to assume where as others detail every bit of the scene. In that way it is not consistent, some won't like that.
The framework is a bit more balanced in the wider view, the detail is not focused on the "main" character but rather spread around. This is where is feel the extra detail needs to be in general. It is like a fine picture that is just not complete in that respect, you can see the beauty in it but that detail yet to be added you know will make it pop and complete the piece.
This is not to detract from the show, it just feels a bit more bullet pointy than the original season 1.

I just googled that because it sounded like it might be something interesting based on the search for the north/west passage.
But no, fucking vampires.
Honestly I disagree I think its one of the few tv shows that actually gets better and season 3 was the best of the lot.I'm getting the feeling Narcos should have been stopped after Season 2.
