TV Series

Thought Mad Men was utterly perfect so that some praise mate. The first show I felt the 4th wall broke down and I was there in meetings with draper et al.

Heard that about Ozark s2...dipped a little. My only negative is the lawyer who seems a little implausible but other than that my covid it is top notch: lighting, cinematography (has a lush South Korean cinematic vibe to it), setting, acting...but most of all it’s a real ‘page turner’.

the amount of ridiculous typos in that..shocker.
Anyway...I’m going in Tolm (mrs. Maisel)...one of these and then one of Ozark.
Happy Easter

Started watching Bosch on Prime Video on the recommendation of many on here. Hooked already!
We have just started the first 2 episodes and we’re enjoying it. The episodes could have probably been 10 minutes shorter if all the characters didn’t say the word “Bosch” so often though!

Is this any good, not heard much about it but love Gommorah, not got around to watching it
It's OK. Kind of a bridge to the next series of Gomorra - and obviously it's all about Ciro who somehow survived being shot in the chest on the boat.

Maisel is far superior to Mad Men in my humble opinion. It is effortless, without the need for any gimmicks.

Season 3 of Ozark is on a different level to the one you are currently watching, such a shame it will be at least two years now before we all get to see again some of our favourites series return :(

NOTHING is superior to Mad Men. Is impossible (The Wire got close). Ozark went down the toilet in season 2. Better Call Saul is currently rocking my world along with The Plot Against America, written by the guys behind The Wire. And Curb for light relief, obvs.

I think if push came to shove I’d take Mad Men on a desert island (a desert island with multi media capabilities of course) with me.
Incredibly crafted. Wire, True Detective up there too.
Watched the first Mrs Maisel last night and it’s superb to be fair. Early days but I’ve found a new box set. Heard Ozark gets its mojo back in season 3.

The plot against America sounds interesting - will dig it out (if Netflix/prime?)

Glad you liked it

Future man.

what the fuck have I just watched! Haha! Think I’ll go back to it later when I’m stoned.

Netflix has been used heavily recently.

Tiger king- over rated

F1 drive to survive- never really followed formula much so learned a lot here and found it very interesting.

Black mirror- some really good episodes and some pure shit, don’t know what to make of it overall.

Not on Netflix so you'll need Kodi or similar I guess.

But not seen it mentioned on here for a while, so just thought if you've not seen it and you're stuck for a boxset then "Succession" is the best show I've seen in a good few years.
Highly recommended for anyone who can get it.
