Black Narcissus on BBC 1. The slowest drama I have ever watched. Literally nothing has happened in first 90 mins. Shockingly bad.

If you like French cop drama, sprinkled with the supernatural and obviously don't mind the subtitles, then I recommend Black Spot on Netflix. Season 1 (of 2) in the bag, can't wait for more which is a good sign for me.

For me 'The Stand' has finally started coming into its own three episodes in. Whilst not a patch on the book the adaptation, thus far, has been well managed.
It has kept my interest this far in.
Now, on to episode five of the very excellent 'Your Honor'...

It's brilliant. Series 8 starts tomorrow on BBC4. 8 episodes I think, 2 each Saturday throughout January. But if you've not seen it at all, recommend you start at series 1 :)
There was a series in similar vein some years ago called Braquo. Starred Jean Hugues Anglade, who some may recall from Nikita and Betty Blue back in the day. Again well worth seeking out.
