TV Series

Just watched that one (farmhouse) tonight. The action shots in the whole series so far are incredible.

It drops in quality after this episode in my opinion, especially regarding the action
The reason being Gareth Evans directed all episode 1 and 5 and also directed the action scenes in episode 2 and 4

Shame. ill still watch and find out. I think the action sequences have been so well made, as good as any film ive ever seen.

I’m on the last episode of Ray Donovan.

It’s returned to form after a disappointing fifth season.

Smitty is an extremely annoying character though.

Where/what did you watch it on fella, because it certainly wasn't like that for me?
I've watched all the seasons through Seren/Kodi and never had any audio issues.

It was a year ago so can’t remember it would have been either sky or prime or Netflix. I googled it at the and there was plenty of others had the same problem. People on reddit where trying all sorts with their Telly.

Had the same thing with Tenet the other day but that was down to the director whose a bit of a prick.

probably Sky there was a fuck up with an episode of Ray Donovan where I had to watch it on sky go through the app on my iPad.

There is a general complaint nowadays with how sound is used it pops up from time to time in various series.

Anyone watching ‘Mare of Easttown’? It’s excellent and Kate Winslet is very good. Would really recommend it.
2 episodes in and im settling in nicely.

Winslet is very good....so good i'm forgetting it's her in the main!

Guy Pearce is no mug either.

for@ilovehappyenings -I enjoy watching the detective / thrillers series. I am told I am never happier than watching crimes being committed in a different language. In truth I like the landscape and cultural attitudes. Just finished 'Floodlands' a Dutch and Belgium series with a lead female detective quite different to what you generally have. Very much enjoyed 'Stockholm Requiem' which is obviously Swedish. If you like a French approach there is a set of 3 series 'Vanished by the lake' 'Fear by the lake' and 'killer by the lake'. Also enjoyed 'Nordic Murders' which is actually German but set around the whole Baltic area. There is actually a lot of series on there. I think I have a similar taste in drama to Walter! If you are stuck have a browse.
I recommend The Killing.
Danish, very good.

Just gorged myself on series 4 of Snowfall. Incredibly well written.
In short :-The CIA meets The Wire and Braking Bad.
Sounds a bit like Animal Kingdom have you seen that.
There are two versions, the original was Australian, set in the 80s I think and there is a newer American version set in California.
I really enjoyed both.

Gave up on Jupiter's Legacy on Netflix after the first episode. Everyone was feeling sorry for themselves. Cringe for whoever wrote it.
