TV Series

Just started watching Long Way Up, Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor riding bikes from the tip of south America to Los Angeles. I watched the other "long ways" that they did and really enjoyed them as they spent a lot of time showing the countryside and meeting the locals. This time they are on electric bikes, the main focus is on "range anxiety" rather than the country or the people. After a while it gets boring listening to them go on about how much range they have and how far the next charging point is. That and mentioning the bikes manufacturer is boring. If they want to do something like that, use bikes that we can all buy, not prototypes which probably costs many thousands.
Needless to say I will not be watching the rest of the series.

I think you'd be missing out. I watched this last year when it first came to Apple TV and the scenery is absolutely stunning. I'm not into bikes at all, but I thought that the electric angle was quite good in terms of them having to worry about whether that could make it from station to station. I know what you mean about them mentioning the manufacturers all the time, but the meeting people and seeing the landscape angle from the previous series is still there.

Im eagerly awaiting S6 of Better Call Saul, put back again I believe.

Just Finished The North water, brilliant, thanks whoever it was who said I should watch it after I praised The Terror.

The Witcher Season 2 is out on Netflix. I watched the first episode and it was fantastic. Unfortunately I'd forgotten the backstory since it's been so long since I watched the first season... and so I'm binge watching the first season now.

Witcher is, IMO, quite a bit better than Wheel of Time but not quite as good as Game of Thrones. If you like fantasy/magic/mayhem/and the occasional moment of wry humor, I think you'll enjoy Witcher.
