TV Series

I even love the pace of it and contrary to popular opinion I really enjoyed the ms Cobel episode too!
I’m gonna reserve just a small degree of judgment till I’ve watched the season-ender this weekend though; how they handle that is going to make a real difference for me.

As I said, it depends on whether things move around.

The film "1917" was supposed to be done in "one take" as it was proposed before release, but proved to be a lie.

"Why was 1917 filmed in one-shot?

1917: Why it looks like it was shot in a single, continuous ...

Why Sam Mendes made 1917 look like it was shot in a single, continuous take. The director wanted his World War I drama to feel more like “a ticking-clock thriller” than a war movie."

There’s a big difference between looking like it was shot in one take and it actually being shot in one take. 1917 wanted to look like it was, Adolescence actually was.

I think S2 has lacked some of the intensity and tightly-wound focus that S1 had - and no doubt it will be more so in the 3rd and final series - but you’re right, it’s still must-watch stuff, and then some.
Yeah it has some filler episodes, it seems a lot of good series do that, 'From' suffers with that as well

Finally got around to finishing Paradise.

This was very good. After the edge-of-the-seat first episode, it did settle down and you wondered where it was going, but episode #7 was terrific, really tense, heart-pounding stuff.
Episode #8 finished the series off nicely and in an unexpected way and set up season 2.

5 episodes into Justified after seeing it recommended on here. Enjoying it can see it's brewing very nicely.

The hillbilly blonde is proper doing it for me. Wouldn't mind hearing that accent as she tongued my ringpiece
