Just started watching adolescence on NetFlix. First episode was fantastic, second is quite bizarre and doesn't really develop the story other than making stupid school jokes.

We found the acting excellent but the last two episodes didn't really develop the story dispite great acting from almost all the cast.

Adolescense was great. Only thing that slightly irked me was the miss mash of accents involved. For a drama supposedly set in Merseyside, the only scouse accents came from Steven Graham and his Mrs. Even some of the kids sounded like they were from down south.

Thought it was a school in Doncaster ?

It wasn't supposedly set in merseyside as in the last episode The mother talked about moving back to merseyside but her husband disagreed.

The social worker was introduced as working for Doncaster social services so the whole thing was supposed to be in Yorkshire.
