TV Series

Bosch Legacy - very disappointing: really lost the plot on these. I have read all the books and after ‘retiring’ he went on to do cold cases and the to working with Ballard.

Never understood the acclaim the Bosch series got. Watched the first two seasons and was bored out of my mind. Different strokes I guess

I'm with you. Having read all of the Michael Connelly Bosch books was very disappointed and only managed the 1st series. Never liked the actor who played the main role so that didn't help.

Didn't help he looked and sounded like an American, James Nesbitt.

Been hammering through the new Bergerac over the weekend, just the last episode to watch this evening.
It’s not amazing, but I’ve seen worse.

Just finished season 7 of Black Mirror.

Apart from the first episode Common People, thought the rest were all crap to be honest.

Binged severance season 2 over the last week after saving it until it was all released. Have to say I'm disappointed in it. It's not been bad but it doesn't live up to the same standards season 1 set.

Quite simply, not a lot has happened. for how long it's been between seasons and how few episodes there is, you just have to have more going on. I'm still in on it and looking forward to a season 3 but the anticipation has definitely gone down for me. Had very similar feelings towards Silo season 2, another apple tv product.
Thought it was an abysmal follow up to a superb first series. Really disappointing.

Watched the first two episodes of MobLand last night.

Fantastic if predictable fun.

Think I’m actually in love with Tom Hardy. He was born to play characters like this.

Nope, loved the one with the game. The rest of them, all crap. The one in black and white screen and that one with Paul Giamatti, how pretentious can you be? It's turned into a show that's basically looking for validation on how thoughtful and "deep" they are.

"See how intelligent we are?"

I felt like I was watching one of those "Eat,Pray,Love" pretentious rich people, Woody Allen type movies. I remember getting sucked into the hype of "Lost in Translation", saw it and I felt like "Wait, is that it?" That's how this season of Black Mirror had me feeling.
