I watch it on record every day (so I can fast forward suzie dents origins of words, sorry Suzie), I also think Colin Murray (who is never precipitated to) is a huge upgrade on Anne fucking Robinson (she could have killed the programme). I’ve actually qualified to go on, got the call to go on as they were looking for 2 new contestants as a 7 times winner was expected to be an ovtochsmp and I was on standby as a local person), got half way there in the taxi and was told not needed as he lost his 8th match the twat! So I’m on the list to go on (passed the audition) but had to cancel my next appearance chance when I had my stroke in June! Still on the list for when I feel a bit better

I like Murray, one of the only likeable rags around. Never ever got how Anne Robinson became famous. She's unbearable on anything I've seen her present

That's proper shit luck mate. Hope you're on the mend and I'm sure you'll make it on there eventually

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities on Netflix.

If you ever used to watch tales from a crypt years ago, it is very similar. Some episodes may be for your liking and some may not. But they are all crazy ass tales done in an hour.

I hope a second series is made because it is brilliant.

I was wondering about dipping into the books. The more so in that the final season of the TV series really leaves a door open, and that left all fans of the series frustrated. I think the plug was pulled on it, inexplicably, by Amazon and the production company, Alcon, had to go along with that. Just weird when you've got a series that is both critically acclaimed and has a very loyal fanbase among the viewers.
Don't tell me — I don't want any spoilers — but the books by Corey apparently go through that door…

There's a lot more happens in the books than where the series got up to. It was strange that they introduced Laconia into the last season if they had no intention of continuing the story.
The story has some quite big time jumps so it would have been difficult for the producers to develop that into the show.
 
I’ve binged so many shows over the years! Some of my earliest favorites were on the Disney Channel https://disney-channel.pissedconsumer.com/review.html , and it’s wild how much storytelling has evolved since then. It’s fun to compare older shows to what’s coming out now, especially with more adult themes creeping into teen-oriented series. Honestly, I love seeing the threads where people discuss plot twists or character development — makes rewatching the old stuff even more fun.

4 episodes deep in Ed Gein. I'm not overly familiar with his story besides the basics, did a very small bit of research into him and its staggering how fabricated the show is so far. And what the hell is with the Hitchcock/psycho and Texas chainsaw side stories? Seems like they didn't have enough content to make the show so randomly decided to include that as filler and put it where it doesnt fit and ruins the flow of the show.

I'm guessing the more research i do, the more things i'll discover is entirely made up and that i'll dislike it more. It's getting worse by the episode at the minute.

I interviewed Richard Whiteley for the student magazine around 1997. Lovely guy, gave above and beyond what was expected of his time at Yorkshire studios.

The very last thing he said to me was "do you have dreams about the Queen Mother"? To which I replied "no".
He then says "surely everyone dreams about the Queen Mother. I dream about her every night"

100% read the books, there's 9 of them plus a short story compilation (or 2?) so there's way more than they'd ever have gotten into the TV series. I must check out the TV series again I think, Prime is it?
 
Very much enjoyed the majority of the Ed Gein series on netflix.

Spent a lot of time googling and resarching which bits were true and what was fiction. Some bits unneccesary in my opinion.

By the end of it I actually felt sorry for the guy, weirdly. I was really conflicted about it.

If you watched the final season then start the books at book 7, Persepolis Rising.
You'll be more or less up to date then
