I watch it on record every day (so I can fast forward suzie dents origins of words, sorry Suzie), I also think Colin Murray (who is never precipitated to) is a huge upgrade on Anne fucking Robinson (she could have killed the programme). I’ve actually qualified to go on, got the call to go on as they were looking for 2 new contestants as a 7 times winner was expected to be an ovtochsmp and I was on standby as a local person), got half way there in the taxi and was told not needed as he lost his 8th match the twat! So I’m on the list to go on (passed the audition) but had to cancel my next appearance chance when I had my stroke in June! Still on the list for when I feel a bit better

The books it's based on are also excellent. It's a long series but doesn't drop in quality. You also get more background on the characters too which a TV show just doesn't have the time to go into.

It was strange that they introduced Laconia into the last season if they had no intention of continuing the story.I was wondering about dipping into the books. The more so in that the final season of the TV series really leaves a door open, and that left all fans of the series frustrated. I think the plug was pulled on it, inexplicably, by Amazon and the production company, Alcon, had to go along with that. Just weird when you've got a series that is both critically acclaimed and has a very loyal fanbase among the viewers.

He then says "surely everyone dreams about the Queen Mother. I dream about her every night"
Yeah I get he inspired those 2 films and was inspired somewhat himself by the nazi woman but couldnt stick with it and binned it off, loads of filler is exactly what it felt like, dragged the story out4 episodes deep in Ed Gein. I'm not overly familiar with his story besides the basics, did a very small bit of research into him and its staggering how fabricated the show is so far. And what the hell is with the Hitchcock/psycho and Texas chainsaw side stories? Seems like they didn't have enough content to make the show so randomly decided to include that as filler and put it where it doesnt fit and ruins the flow of the show.
I'm guessing the more research i do, the more things i'll discover is entirely made up and that i'll dislike it more. It's getting worse by the episode at the minute.
Started well. Peaked during the prologue episode, which ironicaly was Alien again, but went a bit downhill afterwards.
