TV Series

Just finished Falling Skies. Very good but if should have been called...
Strange Kindappings of the 3rd Kind.
Or
To Kidnappedness and Beyond.
Or
Battlestar Kidnappica
Or
Kidnap Trek

The poor Masons couldnt go a day without being abducted. Tom Mason i think was kidnapped 3 times alone in one episode.

Just finished first season of A Knight of The even Kingdoms. Thoroughly enjoyed it - much more personal than GOT, lacks its grandiosity and bombast. Great performance by Peter Claffey as our titular hero, channeling a bit of Father Dougal at times. It's also consistently funny, and the short running time of each episode means it never outstays its welcome.

THe Making of's (A Knight in the Making) are a good watch if you get the chance.

Watched a few series recently some really
good and some really bad.

The Pitt - casualty/ER based series that I’d highly recommend. Up to date on season 2 at present. Really good watch. 15 episodes in season 1 and the season covers a minute by minute one day shift. Not available in UK and Ireland I don’t think so would need iptv or download.

A Knight of the seven kingdoms - agree with others on here it’s excellent just wish there was more. It was over far too quickly, it’ll be a long wait for season 2.

How to get to heaven from Belfast - new show from Derry Girls maker. Not my cup of tea at all. Mystery involving three highly annoying female characters.
I was watching with the Mrs that’s the only reason I’ve kept watching. The characters being loud and ridiculous doesn’t make for comedy, the show grated on me more and more each episode.

Louis Theroux's 'Inside the Manosphere'.

What an interesting docu. LT has lost his anonymity which was his main strength in these type of exposés. Well, amongst the younger demographic as they know how to research before he gets to meet them.

I wouldn't say Theroux mullers anyone because he not just up against the person in front of him, but many times he's up against the followers as well.

With that said there's enough to see how brittle the foundation of the belief of the interviewees actually are as he probes simple questions at the logic of their positions.

Enjoyable watch overall.

Just finished Pluribus. Undecided if I enjoyed it's slow pace or if it should have sped up a bit. On balance I think it's well made so the pacing will be deliberate rather than an attempt to squeeze more episodes out of a undeveloped idea.

Just up to series 8 of ,monarch legacy of monsters does it get any better is it worth sticking with?
I think you have to at least give it till series 13, no one can be arsed making an effort anymore, if there isnt a car crash or a pair of tits in the first 5 mins people lose interes.....

Oh look a cloud shaped like a knob

It scared me, can't believe these type of humans exist and are admired. What a bunch of fucken losers. Oh God spare me. I would never want to meet these people.

Watched first episode of Scarpetta it got panned slated mainly! I’ve watched worse first episodes feel it be 3/4 episodes in before you really feel for it or not!

I’ve watched the first two and it’s not great. Kidman looks constantly surprised with the amount of filler and Botox and facelifts she’s had. Jamie Lee Curtis massively over acts and, more importantly for me, its struggling to coherently map the story with all the time line flopping. Probbaly worked well in a book but for tv it’s a hard watch. Might have to ditch it.
