Yep exactly that. I don't doubt there has been some vile things said to him but when you work for a company that uses a provocative method to get viewers, phone calls and tweets the numbers will always throw up some idiots who take it too far. Collymore has been accused of giving death threats by two of his former partners and the racial element of the rugby incident was dismissed and the Irish authorities wanted to pursue him rather than his claimed attackers.

It is hard to have sympathy with Collymore under this situation. Is there a tragic irony in somebody who may have previously played the race card being ignored when somebody racially abuses him over twitter? Stan Collymore is a sad little man and the fact that he returned so soon proves this feud with trolls, and Twitter is more important in his life than it should be.

Not at all in fact it mirrors life.

There are idiots everywhere some even actually try to kill you and maim you on the streets.

We can shut down the internet tomorrow and people will still communicate nastiness won't they?

I personally don't do twitter because I can't be arsed with the idiots...just look at bejing_red ffs :-)
