I thought Prague were by far the better team in the first half, but ran out of steam a bit in the second. They can get a goal or two away at anfield no probs
Don't think so. And Liverpool will beat Poznan or Braga no problem

Sparta Prague v Liverpool was the worst match I have seen for a long time

Agreed but did you see Liverpool's other Europa games? Their matches against Napoli, Steaua, and Utrecht were as bad, the Napoli one arguably worse.

Seriously now. Do you think that the presenters are told, 'when reporting on Man City, always have a tinge about your reporting which comes across in a way they are made to be looked at in a negative way'?

WOWZERS!!

Do you actually think the presenters say what they want? It is scripted to fuck, even the jokes are Top Gear esque!!
I didn't ask if it was scripted, course it is, anyone knows that. I asked if the presenters are told, (or read scripts then), which tell them to emphasise a negative City report. I am willing to bet my next years wage that they don't, and that no media outlets have an anti City agenda and that it all is just a figment of paranoid City fan's minds because they are so desperate to win something. The question will always be, 'what have the media got to gain by seeing us fail??'. Not one person, despite my umpteenth request, has ever come up with an answer to that question, not one. That's because there isn't a question to have an answer for. Media talk about news and whether people like it or not, going out and buying some of the finest talent in the country, putting up 'welcome to manchester' billboards and generally making a noise will always attract the medias attention, especially when no-one else is doing it and especially when you have basically come from nowhere to do those things. Chelsea had grief, but as someone rightly said before they didn't have as much grief as us, and thats because they were already CL so had no need to 'blow everyone out of the water'. We have done that, we have come from nowhere and effectively made a big song and dance about what we want - there is no agenda, there is only press about a club making its own news.

Sky four mentality lol even though they have not been a top four team for a year or so they will find it hard to change their conditioning.lol

TBH i think it is exactily the opposite. cant really see any reason for say sparta prague is a better team than aris , none.
Maybe you should check their recent european history then.

They play in a harder league than Aris, and regularly qualify for the CL, unlike Aris.

On top of that we have a much better squad currently than Liverpool.

Its quite easy to work out why their result is better than ours.

czech league better than greek league? bollocks mate. in Greece i would say that there are 4 teams CLEARLY better than Sparta Prague.

Olmypiakos
Panathinaikos
PAOK
AEK

Then I would say Sparta Prague is maybe, MAYBE slightly better than Aris. Your ignorant post confirms to me that lots of people in Britain are isolated from European football outside the UK. Greek league has outperformed the Czech league every year in Europe since 2000!!!

tipical arrogance

how many PL or championship teams could get this results ?

Aris Salonicco - Atl. Madrid 1-0
Rosenborg - Aris Salonicco 2-1
Aris Salonicco - B.Leverkusen 0-0
B.Leverkusen - Aris Salonicco 1-0
Atl. Madrid - Aris Salonicco 2-3
Aris Salonicco - Rosenborg 2-0

You do realise, being disappointed with a result doesn't make your knowledge of football any weaker, or doesn't make you any less of a fan. It's healthy infact, being constantly happy with what you do, wouldn't be. We should be winning games like Aris away, and I don't think I could be convinced otherwise. Winning is a habit, a mentality, and we need to get that.

It doesn't matter, we will beat them at our place same we should of beaten Notts County away but we didn't but we didn't lose either, United should of beaten Leeds at home last year and they didn't. Football is a results game and providing we get a result at home against them the away leg is made irrelevant, it's upto the home side to go for it especially a home side with their home record! Win or draw it was a good result.

We don't need a winning mentality we need a POSITIVE one.
