I already know I'm gonna get loads of stick for this post cos it's anti city but disgusted with our fans tonight.
Yes there's german fans in our end but why have to fight them simply for that reason.
I saw there fans being escorted out of town at 5pn bringing the whole of piccadilly to a standstill and the noise was electric. If only our passion was half that our grounds would be rocking.
I stand in 115 and it was clear at least to me there was Germans in our end right from the off. They were bouncing along to there songs on the bottom corner of 115 from the off. Every thing fine till they score then all he'll break loose cos they're in our end, fuck knows how blind these people were not to see it earlier then we get the fighting and germsn bomber songs. They did nothing to antagonise, yes they celebrated there goal but it only turned nasty when so called city fans who'd missed the blatantly obvious for the first 15 minutes decided to wade in.
Seems it's OK for us to but tickets in the home end, seville for example , yet we can't respect away fans who do the same thing cos they want to watch their team.
We all moan about no alcohol at champions league games but with displays like tonight no chance of that changing anytime soon.
Certainly not saying it was carnage it was fisty cuffs but still no need
