But it is the case, and all the hand wringing in the world won't change it. Try sitting in with the home fans in Rome, or Naples, or Istanbul and celebrate City scoring and see what happens.

They shouldn't cheer when they score. I don't give a fuck if it's poor form to tell them to shut up, the fact that so many were in our end was a joke. The East stand had pockets of them everywhere. In fact on Radio Manchester coming home I heard someone phone in saying we should be more respectful to them and the city fans who told them to sling it were mindless idiots.
Well, I was one of those mindless idiots and I'd do it again and again and again, no violence - just verbally telling them to shut up and not jump up when they score. Football should be tribal. Soft arses who want to sit in with their fellow fans and be all pally should follow another sport.

Grew up in Liverpool in the 70s. Supported city all my life. Stood on Kop with mates many a time. Even wore City colours. Yes, we always lost and hardly ever scored but no hassle. Thes days live in Newcastle. Sit with mates and have banter. You my friend are typical key board hard man ...... Not.
