Pathetic that charges and the like are being mentioned. How about a chance for a proper education and present their learning to an audience later. Public order offences like this are exactly the kind of laws that are robbing us of thoughts, discussions and meeting stupid behaviour with over-the-top punishments. 17 years old or not, below 18 is a minor. This country has been built on far worse gallow's humour and taunting. Some eejits say summat stupid, and rather than our own call 'em out or deal with it in house, videos and reports to Police make a national issue out of a moment of madness and pathetic stupidity. What annoys me more is that I've heard grown men shouting worse since, joking about worse since, from other clubs and our own... am I going to call everyone out? No. But, I will pick my battles. This kind of thing will lead to fans fighting fans. Now, if they make an example of a few idiots who have a chance to be publicly educated and learn their errors, perhaps we'll have less newspapers making out that we liquidated a culture.

Poor kids, I feel sorry for em. A moment of high spirited stupidity leads to a woke witch hunt, City shamefully leaping at the opportunity to virtue signal and GMP delighted to have the chance to arrest some soft targets for a non criminal offence rather than having to deal with the actual scum making our streets a dangerous place to live.
