Txiki Begiristain

It's fine, it's what I expect. The Mail is one, the Star reports interest from other clubs, the MEN claim we're confident of keeping him.
There's three, I don't know the player personally nor do you. Are there any accounts to suggest he's not considering his future? Would it be wide of the mark to suggest he may be considering his future?
But again, why hang on one line. What about Tyress Campell?

Are you saying there isn't a log jam? Rather than trying to discredit one little bit of my post, try addressing it.

Campbell has left. That Lopes and Denayer were promised first team places last summer?

To deny that there is an obvious log jam is totally and utterly wrong.

No need to be so antagonistic, I was just wondering what you meant when you said by all accounts, I thought there may have been something I missed.

These under21s don't need to be named in the PL squad so no I don't agree there's a log jam.

We don't NEED it gone though mate. Players can be left out of CL squad. Take for example Zinchenko, he could be told you're not in the CL squad until you've earned your place but you don't need to be named in the PL squad so there'll be plenty of opportunity to stake your claim for a CL squad place.

We can only name 17 foriegn trained players in a CL squad. How many have we got?
Willy, Zaba, Kompany, Mangala, Otamendi, Kolarov, YaYa, Fernando, Fernandiho, Gundogan, Nasri, Silva, De Bruyne, Sane, Navas, Nolito, Bony, Iheanacho, Aguero. I'm not sure on Denayer's CL status.

You keep picking one specific part of my arguement. Why? Ok, leave out Zinchenko. Still leaves too many. So yes, we NEED to either sell or leave out 2-4 players.

And if we can`t sell them they wont make either list.Simples.

I've told you twice about Denayer's status and provided you with proof that he is under21 so doesn't need to be named in the squad.

I haven't picked out one part of your argument, I used Zinchenko as an example of where we could leave a non homegrown player out without much drama to counter your point about having to sell, I see you've now conceded that they can be left out.

Apologies if I came across as antagonist. I was merely using what I rea on sky sports of evidence that he was considering his future.

You're right, under 21's don't have to be named in the squad, but they do need the space to play.
I agree it's very hard to shift out senior players, it's just as hard to leave them out of a squad.

There are plenty of players, Cellina, Barker, Faupala, Bryan, Horsefield too strong/developed to benefit from EDS, yet it's very hard to incorporate or even give them a chance if you have so many senior players above them.

United stumbled on Rashford because they were bolloxed, they'd even played A&E up front before him. Often this is the case.

I know you don't need to name Horsefield for example in the squad, but if there's 28 senior pros in front of him, his chances will naturally be severely limited.
As shit as Bony has been, it would destroy any confidence he has/had if he were left out for a untried kid.
Pep is a great coach, but asset management is important too.

Banishing senior pros is terrible for the player, a clubs reputation. It creates a toxic atmosphere.
Pep is well known for having a strong nucleus of senior pros supplemented by youth and developing players.

What drama? You're still ignoring the basis of my point, there's too many players there.

That still leaves 2. 3 when Jesus comes in Jan? Or does he replace Iheanacho? As I believe he becomes home trained in Jan.

Nothing more simple than leaving a senior pro out of a squad. It is football manager afterall. Pig farmer training with the youth is covering those over the road in glory.

I imagine Nasri or Ya Ya would be model pros if frozen out of football. I wouldn't be surprised if their contracts or the PFA wouldn't actually allow it.

Drama as in toxic atmosphere that you mentioned in the other post.

Yes Jesus can take Iheanacho's spot when he goes on the B list in January.

There is a few too many but I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill tbh.

Completely different, Pig Fucker is being completely frozen out, that is not what's happening with our players. They can still be named in PL squad so there's still plenty of football that they're eligible to play.
