I just heard that on Radio 2 and to be fair to Fury he sounded honest & legit. I do think the media have picked parts out of interviews and shown him in a bad light, and I do think he's sporting role model as well.
He's not the best advert for political correctness but he and Tatchell actually had a mature conversation about it. What got me were the other people who came on the show saying he was comparing homosexuality to paedophilia but all he'd actually done was mention those 2 things, along with abortion (which for some reason appears to have been totally ignored by everyone wanting to have a pop at him) in the same statement - he never actually said that those 3 things are all as bad as each other.
