Rock & Roll

I thought they were good myself.

Rather than make a pre-judgement on Bono being a pretentious **** (which he is of course) I would rather think for a 51 year old his voice held up well enough to put on a decent performance.

As for the comment about the crowd, how were they not enjoying it ?

Flags waving, singing along and all in a massive downpour.

Immense
Contribution (to)
Music

(but Bono can come across as someone who loves the taste of his own cock whereas the Edge is still operating in the real world)

Agree with this, whoever rises to the top - people either have to love them or hate them, no one ever see's the respect in how they acheived this

any thread about U2, Oasis, Murrey, any one in Goverment etc they get slagged off no matter what

I suppose were in the X factor generation where people have to have a pointless opinion on everything

unpopular
on
Bluemoon!!

I like them myself, in my opinion they peaked with Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree, but they still present a cracking live show - obviously at their own gigs!!
