Within this hour I have watched at least 5 lights cross at very high altitude. No blinking, so not planes. Various speeds. Things that don’t look like you can put a label to.

Sounds like they could be meteors? How long did they last?

They’re much more common than people realise. According to Greenwich observatory the average is about one every ten minutes. So if you look at the sky long enough you’re likely to see a few.

Definitely satellites - there can be some quite bright ones as well and they move deceptively slowly. The ISS is always quite fun to look out for as it is one of the brightest out there. The website below shows times and where to look for it if you're interested (also shows other satellites as well).
