Season tickets have always been for league games only.
Some citycard holders have a lot of points but season ticket holders get priority.

It's way to late now, and it's not like their wasnt enough warning.

i find it amusing that loads of the high point holders have had a kick up the arse. the attitude of most around last season cup final was less than interested, now it's bothering them. If you stuck with the others last season and forced the issue maybe things would be different.

This happened in the final last year, my dad had a season ticket for four years, been going for 40+ years before that. didnt get a sniff over first year holder with less than a 1000 points because of the cup scheme.

i posted about it last season, told he would have got one if he was a reall fan as he would have enough points.

I feel the higher point City fans shafted others last season.

they spelt it out loud and clear. it might not be right from a football club point of view, but guaranteed incomes will take precedent from a business point of view, and thats what the cup scheme is

I've had a bit of time to think about this and have changed my tune a bit! What makes me laugh about Loyalty Points is that someone might have only started going to City the day the Loyalty Points system was introduced and has been lucky enough to be of an age (and therefore have enough money) to go to a lot of games over the last [is it] 11 years[?] Whereas there might be someone who went to every City game from 1965 to 1999 yet had kids, lost his job, moved away, retired etc.. and missed out on going to City as often as he used to when Loyalty Points came in.

Who's the more loyal fan? Someone who went every week for 34 years or someone who went a lot for 11 years? Well the Loyalty Points system would show you the man with 6000 Loyalty Points is more loyal than someone with 1500 Loyalty Points. But I'd strongly disagree!!

Now the time has come to allow younger fans who have missed out on 11 years of Loyalty Points because they were kids in school or people like the bloke in my hypothetical scenario above, to get one back on the lucky lucky people who fell just right to be a City fan of a certain age when Loyalty Pointe first came in.

I don't feel sorry for people with 6000+ LP's who haven't signed up for the Cup Scheme at all. I bet they haven't felt sorry for me when I've missed out on Old Trafford derby tickets because I wasn't part of the first few years of the LP system because I was a kid/student and had no money for that many games at the time and only got myself into a posiion to get myself an OT derby ticket two years ago for the first time through LP's.
