Did you make a complain in the FA cup semi or final.....? that was the time to do it.

It's way to late now, and it's not like their wasnt enough warning.

I know.

I don't want to come across like I'm moaning but I know a few loyal fans who will miss out now and it's not fair.

I thought they would have at least put it on sale to non-members after the cup scheme had their priority.

This happened in the final last year, my dad had a season ticket for four years, been going for 40+ years before that. didnt get a sniff over first year holder with less than a 1000 points because of the cup scheme.

i posted about it last season, told he would have got one if he was a reall fan as he would have enough points.

I feel the higher point City fans shafted others last season.
iirc
for the final it was purely seasoncard loyalty points only for a ticket until it dropped below 3250, and then the cup scheme kicked in

I just mentioned this in the tickets area.

Its a weird 1, I didn't realise about it I thought it was a miss print on the website that meant basically if your in the CL scheme OR have 5000 points you can get ticket.

Stupid really, as I've been sat here waiting for it to go down and I'd still not of got a ticket.

The club have basically turned the gold, non cup scheme season ticket into a league match ticketbook (like the rags once had). A lot of my mates were concerned about being priced out but all recognise that this is keeping the basic cost affordable and they are happy to pay.

I'm with the club on this, allows each fan to specific how much they're prepared to pay over a season. As for euro aways, my view is that any city fan worth their salt will know someone who is eligible but has decided not to go to a particular game and could sort them out.

It was 3500 points, and still means people with lower points got tickets over others with more points.

And the semi was from day one..... yet again people with less than 1390 points(including the 1000 point SC bonus) took priority

and CityCard holders got them through some branches of the Supporters Club!!

This cup scheme only policy is a complete and utter farce and I'm on the scheme!

Yeah, fair enough, they did warn us but I didn't expect it to be cup scheme members only.

What happens to someone on 6k+ points not on the cup scheme?

Shocking...hope they change it for the next 2.
ive got 7500 points but not in the scheme , never thought i had to, never go on the OS or to be honest read the junk mail from the club , got mates with more points than me who didnt sign up either and are furious , even mates who did sign up to it didnt know about the "no cup scheme- no away ticket rule" - first i knew about it was last week when ticket criteria for munich came out - days after i booked with Spike to Munich and Villareal -been to every european game home and away since TNS , my only hope is that Danny Wilson in the ticket office feels sorry for me and saves me a spare - why didnt i sign up, wifes new job means im gonna struggle with any mid-week match this season, but didnt realise it mattered coz thought i had more than enough points

Shocking mate, I feel for you...hope you sort something out.

You'll just get told to 'embrace it' and that 'it's progress'.

Oh and 'stop moaning'.

just out of interest , can someone find me the first thread on here that stated if you didnt sign up to the scheme you probably wouldnt get an away ticket - i go on here most nights and i cant ever remember reading one until about last thursday . cheers

Surely not everyone in the cup scheme is planning on going to every away game? Can they not sell there tickets to other blues when they are not going?

and supporters clubs are they not allocated any for euro aways then?

-- Thu Sep 08, 2011 7:47 pm --

Surely not everyone in the cup scheme is planning on going to every away game? Can they not sell there tickets to other blues when they are not going?
