Did you make a complain in the FA cup semi or final.....? that was the time to do it.

It's way to late now, and it's not like their wasnt enough warning.

I know.

I don't want to come across like I'm moaning but I know a few loyal fans who will miss out now and it's not fair.

I thought they would have at least put it on sale to non-members after the cup scheme had their priority.
Should have joined if they're that loyal because obviously they'll be going to the home games aswell
It's quite feasible that someone who has been to every single weekend game, home and away game since the LP system came in but works evenings or nights during the week so can only make the odd one or two weeknight games a season. This person wouldn't join the Cup Schemes and would just buy odd tickets as and when he had a night off or could book it off.

So it's fair then that they should get a Munich away ticket without attending a CL game at home why ?

I don't think there's an answer to this which would suit everyone.

For example, I've been supporting City regularly since I was 10 and I'm now approaching retirement age so I reckon that over the years I've seen more City games than a lot of posters on BM. I've also been a seasoncard holder since we moved to Eastlands. In the Maine Road days I was a season ticket holder in the old Kippax before it went all seated. I then had a contact in the Ticket Office so I just had a City Card and a group of us all managed to get seats together in the North Stand, no problem. Particularly so when we were in the 3rd Div.

Does all this make me more loyal than others ? Not necessarily.

Whilst I go to every home game, due to business and family commitments (and where I live) the number of away games which I have been able to get to over the past decade has dwindled to maybe 3 or 4 a season. Likewise I can't get to some evening matches (in particular a 6pm Europa League game !) and European away games are an impossibility. Thus, whilst I have a healthy number of Loyalty Points (more than enough to get me to Wembley 3 times this year) I am a couple of rungs down the Loyalty Points pecking order.

I am in the FA Cup Scheme, but for the reasons above I decided to opt out of the CL & CC Schemes and decided to take my chances. Indeed I had no problem in buying my usual seat for the Napoli game, which is what I reckoned on anyway. The same will no doubt apply to the remaining group games.

In which case, whilst it doesn't suit me entirely to see more 'recent' supporters higher up the pecking order than I am, I can't really complain. For example, those who travel away on a regular basis deserve to get first dibs. Ditto if you commit to the Cup Scheme. That's life.

'Loyalty' in this situation is hard to define and I would guess that that there are many others like me who run the risk of missing out - certainly if we get to the CL Final. The only way to solve it for the Cup Schemes is enrol. You pays your money, you takes your choice. We may not particularly like it, but those are the rules.

Surely not everyone in the cup scheme is planning on going to every away game? Can they not sell there tickets to other blues when they are not going?

and supporters clubs are they not allocated any for euro aways then?

I'm in the cup scheme (All 3) and all it guarantees is you buy tickets for ALL home games NOT Away games

I think the scheme is perfect. The only people who are complaining are the ignorant/apathetic ones.
The facts were there for everyone to see.
Sad but true!!

Straight to the point

-- Fri Sep 09, 2011 10:30 am --

First one there today at 0845. When i picked up my ticket at the store bloke next to me asked how sales were going and they said "We expect further sales to be announced (No criteria were mentioned)

im alwasy lucky im signed yp to all 3 cup schemes i work nights and luckily my nights off are mideweek so can always go :)

I've had a season ticket for 27 years (first one £25 Jnr in the Kippax) and I go to a fair few away games every season... When the season ticket prices were announced it was a no-brainer to go Platinum and sign up for the cup schemes just because I support my club and want to get to see every match possible, a lot of the times without the hassle of ringing up the ticket office or going online to book a ticket.

I've got 6310 points so will pretty much get the opportunity to get a ticket for every match if I decide I want to go to it. The point is though, 'I' signed up for the schemes and paid the extra £50...

I've no sympathy for anyone that can't now get a ticket because they couldn't be arsed to get off their backsides to do the same...
