I think Shakespeare, in that most fabulous of plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream, said it best where Theseus, Duke of Athens says to his wife to be Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazons:
"Hahahahaha dear heart; tell them to stick it up their fat fucking arses the bunch of cheese eating surrender monkeys. Forsooth, didst they not realise, we are City, we are barmy and we are off our fucking heads?"
