I think you are being too lenient with them. The number of press conferences they have done over the years will have taught them about sponsors product placement. That and coke being one of the major sponsors says that this was done for other reasons. In my view, personal gain.
Definitely - I'm still waiting to see the twat do something selfless on the pitch.........
 
I assumed that he just thought the drinks had been put out for him to drink and didn't want them, and then the media made a big deal about it. I guess when you do a press conference you're usually given a drink.
Joe Royle used to do his post match conferences at City swigging from a can of cider. Chris Bird was always hovering about but his main job seemed to be opening the can for him
