I have never thought City were victims of an "agenda" in the sense there was an international media conspiracy against us. I have preferred to believe we were victms of individual bias from people who disliked us or our business model (or unconscious bias in the case of Raheem). However, having now read the Times hatchet-job, I have to say the letter from 12 premier league clubs asking the PL "what action they will take against us if guilty" really is unprecedented.
If this article is true then it is not an exaggeration to say our club is facing a concerted campaign to undermine us from the football authorities, a majority of our business rivals, and large sections of the media. What other conclusion can you make when the Times newspaper carries two pages attacking us in an article based entirely on hacked emails (mentioning the hacker Pinto repeatedly) without mentioning anwhere that Pinto was extradited and arrested just a few days ago facing charges of extortion. This is fundamentally dishonest.
