I'm not talking about anyone admitting anything and to the contrary, I think we should emphatically deny any wrong-doing and do everything in our power to not let them punish us, or for any punishment to stick.That's a dangerous route to go down though.
Shit sticks even if it's lies so best you do not even contemplate going there.
It's not a black and white case so you can not say whether cheating has occurred or not within the parameters of finsncial fair play, as the goalposts are constantly shifting.
Admitting guilt will involve a lot of collateral damage,resulting in sporting reputation in tatters, City will be branded and that will be harder to shake off than if City get banned.
You've got to box more cleverly than that.
But we're not CIty, we're just a few fans on a forum and when someone on here says "yeah, well it looks like we probably did break the rules didn't we", they do have a point.
