The club statement is robust in that it addresses the judgement on two levels:

1. The process - "The UEFA Chief Investigator publicly previewed the outcome and sanction he intended to be delivered to Manchester City, before any investigation had even begun"
2. The evidence - "The Club has always anticipated the ultimate need to seek out an independent body and process to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence in support of its position."

It's difficult to understand how the "comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence" can be squared with UEFA's judgement. That will be for CAS to consider.
That’s the thing. Makes me wonder whether our evidence is only conclusive if it’s interpreted in the way we want. Maybe it’s not as cast-iron as it sounds. UEFA are happy to go to CAS. They don’t make this judgement if they are not happy to go to them. So that has to make us nervous. I feel they know something City don’t.

Already had several phone calls ( mainly Scousers ) asking gleefully if I had seen the news. Whilst individuals can be out in their place it is the shit that sticks and how the club is now perceived on not just a national but international stage.
Yes we can appeal, etc, etc. but this is not a good day for our beloved club.

The boil has burst. One way or another, this will change football in Europe for ever. Christ I wish we could bring down the whole corrupt rotten crooked edifice. UEFA, PL, FA, POGMOL. Start it again from ground zero.

Spot on.

Its took me quite a while to reach this point and this opinion but im increasingly getting fucked off with our silent, shit all over us approach from the UEFA to some hack at the local rag!

You have to imagine there is a breaking point though, yes?

Otherwise the alternative is to think that Khaldoon & co. bought City to get almost to the top of the game, just about delivering on investment, only to be a punching bag and for everything to be set back 5+ years.

If there is ever going to be a breaking point, this is it.

No players left United when they didn’t qualify for the CL!
It's not so much players leaving, it's that over the last few seasons they've stopped being a destination for the world's best players. And much of that has to do with missing from the Champion's League.

Boycot the coerupt competition for good... a prem points deduction this season wont matter I suppose lol
