No mate, Khaldoon is not responsible - he recruited Soriano specifically to steer us safely through the UEFA & Cartel shoals - instead we've been piloted straight onto the rocks.

If he recruited him he is responsible mate.

Everyone answers to Khaldoon and he alone answers to the big boss.

Since we refused to accept the deal offed by Ceferin they knew we were not going to play ball and bow to the UEFA cartel again. I think they probably know they don’t have a leg to stand on and CAS will throw it all out. This ban is all about damaging our brand/City as much as possible, they want to unsettle current players and especially unsettle the future players that we will no doubt be looking to sign in the summer as part of the squad rebuild, they want to put doubt in the minds of future sponsors and investment. This has been a massive smear campaign and is being lapped up by all the click bate journos and social media donkeys to tarnish our image.

It’s time for City to have their day in court and end FFP then go after all the journos who have been spouting all this bias nonsense.

CTID[/QUOTE Which is why this most likely won't end with CAS and head into the court's with City seeking to quantify repuputational damages. In a Broader sense don't see things ever being the same unless there is a new dawn.

The majority of my Spanish friends are Atlético supporters. One thing they are sure about is the timing of this. Just before Madrid play City.
16 million Spaniards support Madrid and thus every assistance is provided including from UEFA.

As my friends sarcastically put it, Madrid play an important cultural role in Spain.

PSG got away with it as there is no power in the French league, the cartel had no issue with them being at the top table, they just wanted them slowing down a bit.

We however, lol....
Very true, the fact that the Prem is massive around the world, and the French league is a sideshow certainly helped.

Yep and I expect us to be shafted if we look like winning the game this game is pointless we all know we won’t be aloud to win it.

What is fascinating is the near 100% support on here for our club on this issue when it is rare to find any large interest group to give similar unanimous backing on a major issue.
Our detractors may be in a vocal majority but there are many who do not agree with FFP.

I think one of the earlier posters hit the nail on the head. This is political which City are also saying. PSG / Qatar allowed to have their man on Uefa board. Consequently the same prosecutor for them and us Leterme clears PSG of FFP. Could it be on the proviso that Leterme nails City with legal expenses funded by Qatar or dare I say a bribe. Am I right in thinking that Qatar and The Sheik are enemies. Qatar has announced that is to sponsor Beckham's Inter Miami to the tune of 180 million.
