I keep reading that the ECJ ruled in favour of FFP in 2012.

This is NOT true. The ECJ said it could be ruled on in a local Belgian Court and it also offered some thoughts on the case. I dug those thoughts out to see what they were saying and it was strongly casting doubts on the legality of the rules as far as I could see.

The case was taken to a local court and the case is nearing a conclusion in Belgium.

Standard of journalism in this country is shocking.

We commented on the grass today, it looked an odd shade of green, could we have been drugging it ? It also seemed to cut up more than normal, surely an investigation needs to be launched into our grass.

I believe the athletics authorities have alleged that no accurate wind readings were taken using the official Kloppometer so the claim is that City received undue assistance from the wind making it impossible to ratify the result officially. Liverpool are to be awarded three bonus points. And a get out of FFP free card.
