Not so. There are usually covenants in loan agreements and there's one in theirs I believe. It's something like if they don't qualify for the CL in two consecutive seasons and their earnings figure falls below a certain level then they're on breach. They'll probably be ok if they're in the Thursday night cup bit of they were to miss out on Europe altogether then they could be in danger of breaching their covenants.
Oh, good! Thanks.

GPDR. It's an actual real life law that means you cannot do that. Hell, if someone was to leave Manchester City then they have the right to be forgotten and all e-mails they were part of wiped off planet earth after a short period of time.
Yep, fishing expeditions not propper and we do not have to respond to them.

You're probably right, but we need to present evidence to CAS which means UEFA will get it too. In any investigation of a quasi legal issue, you have to present evidence. If you can't rely on confidentiality being kept, what do you do?
If we realised UEFA’s determination was a fait accompli, why not miss out the middle man and see what UEFA‘s line of attack would be in advance of further disclosure from us, maybe?

Brilliant. Where are these from?

Yes. They can uphold the decision fully, reject it fully or uphold it in part but send it back to UEFA with a recommendation about the sanction or some other aspect.

PB Its usually the case that no two situations are identical but from your knowledge how often in the past if a club has been banned from entering a competition that they otherwise would qualify for " financial irregularities" by one " authority has the decision been overturned by another or are treading new ground on this one in that regard.

Henry Winter wrote this in January last year when the dippers were 7 points clear and just before City beat them.

Every supporter should celebrate if Liverpool triumph

Most of the article is hidden behind the Times' paywall but the title of the article tells you everything you need to kow.
Yeah, read that at the time. He is entitled to his opinion and it certainly was not a sycophantic piece.

I'd assume that the lawyers involved would be the ones who see the information, and they'd generally be pretty keen to keep their reputations intact.

@gordondaviesmoustache's point about maybe holding back up to now sounds like a reasonable point, but presumably doesn't hold when it goes to CAS.
