Bingo. That’s what concerns me. Pressure from the rags, Bayern, et al, notwithstanding, if the evidence we presented was clear cut, surely UEFA would have known that to contest the matter further would likely result in their own destruction. Going in with anything that’s open to interpretation is a dangerous game to play

Gary Neville of all people coming out and calling Uefa an incompetent and badly run organisation and he expects City to win tells you a lot about this shit storm. The other thing is Uefa are The Court of Arbitration For Sport’s biggest client. They can’t investigate and reach a sound conclusion of a case with out the other people’s legal team picking holes in what they do. The guy who is leading this investigation from the UEFA side of things nearly managed to crash a bank into a ground, is he a fit and proper person to be conducting this?

I just listened to that fat Geordie podcast, he was ranting and raving how we’ve cheated and not won anything fairly blah blah. Firstly he’s a Newcastle fan so this type of stuff just prevents his team ever competing, and do people out there genuinely think the rags, dippers and Chelsea ever won anything without spending money?

One more thing wasn’t ffp there to preven a Leeds and Portsmouth? This is nothing to do with preventing clubs go under, it’s so obviously about protecting a chosen few from new competition! If people want a football where everything is stale and predictable they can have it

I've listened to one or two of his shows, genuinely no idea how he had gotten so much popularity and clout. He comes accross as a total thicko and just talks in clichés and offers nothing new.

They are that clueless they ranted about all City titles now worthless for cheating... Then on the same hand praised Leicester for their title obviously unknown to them Leicester were done for FFP in the championship to get to the prem.

and that's not a go at Leicester what they did was amazing and great for football.

They were when Wolfsburg won two titles last decade n’all.

Wolfsburg have an exemption from ownership rules as they were company-owned before the 50+1 rule was introduced. Another club has similar, I think it's Leverkusen, but might be Bayern.
If Wolfsburg went crazy with spending, German football has a history of rebelling loudly and with nearly everyone involved.

Leipzig are an odd one. A lower league club bought up, and ridiculous membership rules apply - I remember seeing something saying there were only 7 members with 1 share each, all essentially controlled by RB. They're disliked at least in part because this is a clear manipulation of the 50+1 rule.

It is. I feel I'm living a lie.

PB, if UEFA are reopening the 2014 agreement, does that mean we can contest it again?

We all know that City felt incredibly hard done by in that judgement but they settled rather than taking it to CAS. If UEFA are breaking open that SA, does that mean City could re-contest it?

The Annex 11 business, and the change to the rules made after our accounts were submitted would be a pretty convincing part of an argument of unfair treatment and lack of following process especially if the club were being told one thing and then judged by another as you said in the video with Cheesy.

What we need from Uefa if this is thrown out at cas in our favour is a full on apology saying Uefa were wrong and everything Man City have done is all above board.

Quite why anyone would listen to and line the pockets of idiots like this when you know what they are going to say anyway i will never know?

City's rep has been properly damaged , that's what is required if hopefully CAS throws out the case.

or UEFA thought they could out bluff us and we would just take the ban and shut up and except our place in football.....mad as that sounds the UEFA don't seem to be well run and with the backing of G14 thought we would back down.
