I saw a comment from Tony Evans on Twitter the other day that's been bugging me.

He claimed the 'key evidence came from City not the hack'

Full of shit or has UEFA's unpublished reasoning been leaked?

UEFA reminds me of when I was involved in youth football in Kent, The leagues in the area we played in just like UEFA certain teams never got punished or fined they had their own cheating refs for home games and very aggressive parents, diving in with two feet a foot of the ground was seen as a great tackle etc. They would be player fights, name calling from players and parents, it was horrible. We had to use the term reserves, even thou we weren't reserves just that we had enough players to run two teams in the same age group. Players in the 'reserves' told me they were bullied at school for being shit as only reserves etc away parents would shout abuse like 'you should be beating these easy they only f*cking reserves' all this at under 11's !! I put in a complaint and I was banned for 4 years !!, I got it over turned. But it seems from grassroots to the very top football is run by bent people …...funny thing now is the tag reserves has been dropped by the league lol

The bulish stance from Soriano should be completely dismissed. This is prepared and carefully thought out discussion. What else would you expect him to say other than we are innocent and utterly confident.

The major positives:

I think we can reliably accept that the UEFA President offered City a deal which we turned down.
The UEFA case, if it relies on Football Leaks has been damaged by evidence which shows that the major plank of the UAE sponsorship was underwritten by the UAE state and not our owner (accepted even by the most hostile of critics.
CAS will also look at the process a lot closer than the AC did. And they have already expressed 'worries' about this.

Major negatives:

The AC had City's body of 'irrefutable evidence' and dismissed it. Why should we believe CAS will view it differently? The only interesting aspects was his point carefully stressing that City are not anti-UEFA but anti UEFA investigatory chamber.

Never underestimate the impact of prejudice and racism. Look at the Guardian newspapers attitude towards Saddam prior to the Iraq war. The liberal media, and the likes of Amnesty etc ended up creating a climate where the weapons of mass destruction nonsense was swallowed hook line and sinker by knowledgeable and professional people. If you believe in 'right', you can believe anything.

Views are so entrenched here that whatever City say or do is immediately rubbished by reflex by an extremely hostile press. Are the judiciary neutral?

I'd have taken that olive branch. The only way I wouldn't is if I was very confident indeed that CAS would rule in our favour.

My experience of Arab politicians and businessmen (I know them) is that they trust too much in Western institutions. The Arabs as a whole hate the West, their elite does not. They owe their historic position in society to them.

That's the farce; they sit there, hang, draw and quarter the club, offering little in mitigation on the Club's comments or reference to our appeal or stance with apparent "irrefutable evidence" and then expect the Club to meekly invite them in for a grilling!

CITY HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO TELL YOU WHAT THE EVIDENCE IS THAT THEY HAVE.
In fact they actually have an obligation not to say anything, as CAS proceedings are confidential.

^This.

IMO City’s bullish stance over this just may have made them rethink their positioning on their anti City agenda. If we win our appeal and the ban is overruled, it is assumed City will then pursue those that sought to damage their reputation. This may well include those media arseholes who have been involved in such nefarious activities.

Simple Simon’s report after last nights game may just be an isolated piece where for once, he reports on a factual basis. Time will tell if he is rethinking his position regarding our beloved club but in any event, it doesn’t exonerate him from all the shit he’s written about us over the last few years and the truly inane questions he has raised with Pep in the press conferences.

In short, SSIAC and will always be one!

Surely to rethink the fat fucker has to be capable of coherent thought in the first place?

If your reading Simon I'ld prefer SSIAFFC over SSIAC, the extra letters improve the accuracy imho.

Maybe the email hacking via ex City now Pool employees carried on more than we thought and extends to getting direct copies rather than hacked ones?

Fairness and that contemptible individual are simply not connectable. His article is written out of sweaty fear - Stone knows his future as a purveyor of pure City hatred is bleak and he will soon be brought to book. A true accounting of all of the racist raggy and dipper scum inhabitating our media is at hand.
I hope so but I am not sure.

We maybe right. We believe we are right but that does not mean to say right will prevail not when prejudice is involved.

This is like the cold-war witch-hunt of any radical in the anti-Soviet USA. Just cry Reds! and it was enough to convict.
