From the onset this has always been a political motivated move by the G14 camps and IMO has nothing to do with sporting reasons.
When Tebas, who has nothing to do with PSG, City or UEFA, is the one leading the accusations you know it is political. Buth the end game is still the sporting reason : they don't want us to be competitive enough to grab the players they felt were theirs and only theirs. City stealing Sané or De Bruyne from Bayern Munich. PSG stealing Neymar from Barça and Mbappé from Real Madrid. They can't let that happen in the future.

They have no problem with clubs that know their places (below them to say it bluntly). Just watch the hatred that will follow a CL win of one of our clubs !!! Sadly, it won't be PSG in the short time, we are too bad. I then hope City will do it.

Parisian. You say that Uefa offered PSG a deal but FFP chambers blocked it and persued them . PSG got off on a technicality so were the FFP chambers not aware of the ten day rule? Seems odd.

Ceferin has not seen our appeal papers which maybe throw doubt on IC, AC independence, but suddenly starts to stress the distance between him and them?
Go tell the marines.

My view is Ceferin is a "politician". He will always try to strike a deal if possible not to burn any bridge. It is not in his interest. The fact he reportedly offered a deal to City seems consistent with Le Monde article i had posted : UEFA chiefs had offered a deal to PSG but FFP chambers refused and kept going. Seems like the exact same scenario being played out here.

That said, i don't think he wants to get rid of the G14 either. They are too powerful for him to antagonize them. He is trying to manage both camps.

Uefa really should be an independent organisation, people like Gill etc shouldn't be allowed to have any influence whatsoever.

Uefa need to purge those vested interests. If they threaten a breakaway then wave them on their way.

Lets see how they manage after being kicked out of domestic football, lets see who wants to play for them when they know it will mean no International football.

It really is time for Uefa to grow a pair and call the cartels bluff. If they still went through with a breakaway, Uefa could always let City and PSG off the leash ;)

Ceferin can solve all UEFAs problems with a simple announcement.
"Uefa is a control body, a regulator, and in future we will limit ourselves to that. We will call for bids from independent companies to run UEFA sanctioned competitions."
G14 leverage neutered.
What does he love more, football or power?
