It impossible that a sports journalist can, with almost none of the evidence and without accounting or legal training, assess City's compliance or otherwise to FFP; its laws and their applicability in Swiss and EU law (if any); English contractual law regarding contracts they haven't seen; sponsorship tender processes (which they also haven't seen); UEFA processes; international accounting standards; geo-politics; or the commercial global investment thesis of Abu Dhabi.

They don't know the distinction, they couldn't understand the distinction and they don't care about the distinction. Hopefully a court (arbitration or otherwise) has a stab.
If they could distinguish or grasp any of the above, they wouldn’t be sports journalists. Maybe a generation ago, but not today. The profession is replete with intellectual pigmies.

Ceferin is an employee of UEFA and UEFA serves its own interests. G14 has repeatedly threaten to create their own competition. Nothing UEFA can do about it. The money from TV, sponsors will follow the clubs not UEFA. We just have to see the rumours about Real Madrid pushing for a new tournament with FIFA that would give more money than the current CL. We can see UEFA and FIFA are at war over power and money. Those two things trump all the "love for the game".
My point is there would be no war if the regulators were banned from running tournaments. UEFA would no longer enjoy a vast income and, if the elite threatened to found their own tournament, let them go. In most other fields regulators are small organizations with no skin in the game. The clubs would still be regulated by UEFA.

I believe that if CAS overturn the sanctions on City UEFA will have to make fundamental changes to F(ix) F(ootball) P(ermanently) because City may decide to cleanse our reputation of any damage by challenging the break even rule in the ECJ and part of what we have on Liverpool and others may be readily available documentary proof of the involvement of certain clubs in coercing UEFA to enact clearly unlawful regulations to make it impossible for City (and any others who might be taken over) from competing financially and thus through player recruitment. If CAS uphold the decision of AC these measures may be further down the line as pursue the case through the Swiss courts, and then inflicting damage on Liverpool et al may be used to show UEFA as corrupt, biased and unfit for service before the coup de grace in the ECJ.
This is UEFA's next move imo, they are fucked & hard here so there trying to reverse & go again.

Come on £20.000 a day Lawyer get them fucked
