I think these hearings are always held in private with no obligation for anyone to publicise any detailed evidence. It's not an open court case. Someone on here may know better. Either way the best outcome would be City being cleared and then holding a full disclosure press conference. We need to lance this boil.
City are playing the long game so not having the press in attendance may not be a bad thing. If the long game is the case then this CAS hearing is something City have to go through to justify a court hearing. If CAS uphold the ban and fine I believe City will be heading to the European or Swiss courts and if any leaks occur before a court case, like they did with the New York Times and others, before and during IC and AC hearings then I believe the balance tips in Citys favour.

If we end up in Swiss Court then everything is up in the air. No-one can say for sure we would win and have FFP (sic) declared illegal
With the press we get, you really want to give them access? I said the other day, we could wipe the floor with uefa, but if anything remotely embarrassing or semi controversial came out, they'd have a field day at our expense.
There are very few occasions( if any ) when in a criminal trial people make their defence public in advance of the trial beyond saying "I am innocent" to do so would be stupid.In other words they make us look guilt for about 5 mins and then say at the end one sentence that we deny wrong doing to which everyone non city fan says they would wouldn’t they
hardly impartial or informative. Seems we are being punished by the leaks and by the fact we are not leaking our defense
I am fairly sure that when there is a criminal case people often put there defense in public with few exceptions for example I was not there etc
People on here are using publicly available information which journalists should be reporting and could do without speaking to city and breaking any confidentiality. People posting it might be wrong in thinking it will get us off but they are not wrong in terms of the facts and it’s near impossible to imagine that it won’t be our defense that for example Etihad is not related party is not owned by the sheik was considered fair value
How does that balance with the love for City in the press.Maybe, but if we have irrefutable evidence and UEFA have not followed the appropriate processes I think they would be the losers. There is little love for UEFA in the press.
