If anyone had any doubts about our owner or board taking another pinch at this point regarding potential sanction from UEFA and their cohort of lickspitles who pander to the whims of the old G14. I would politely suggest they reconsider their position.
I believe this appeal has firmly drawn a line in the sand. (No pun intended). If UEFA thought they were going to ride roughshod over evidential credibility and their own decision and legal due process then I hope we are about to deliver a virtual kick in the bollocks as a polite reminder they cannot.

I do like 'evidential crediblility' and a kick in Uefa's bollocks. But doesn't the 'e' in Uefa stand for eunuch?

Dan Roan mentions a ban that hasn't been mentioned by any official sources, inadvertently supporting City's view that a ban will be recommended with little study of the evidence.

Or the ban has been leaked as has the whole procedure, (or lack of one.)

Haha, “stunned” ffs.

Why on earth would we flag this to them directly - we have given enough warning during the wrap up of the ‘pinch’ we accepted, we have provided responses in the correct manner through the correct channels. They have stepped out of process by the looks of it due to a statute of limitations.

Yeah get the feeling this is more than a shot across the bows - this is a real warning that if they don’t play by the rules they will be brought to account.

Oh and it’s their own rules too.....

The most disingenuous, nugatory nonsense uttered since Shakespeare looked to Marlowe and said “you know, I think I we should write about two gents.”

After all of their skullduggery, “leaks”, cronyism, and general corruption, they have the audacity to be aghast that we didn’t flag filing this challenge with them beforehand.

It really is dumbfounding the hubris that permeates that organisation.

I'm delighted the "Cold War" is over and we are finally fighting back in the courts. It is also great that City fans are doing their bit on social media by calling out our enemies in the media. The club has been the victim of a smear campaign engineered by our commercial rivals and carried out by some of their pals in the press who don't like the origins of our owners. Let's get it all out in the open and see how the dust settles.

Right now if I could do gifs, which I cant. I'd be thinking Diego Simeone post Atletico Madrid scoring

So to summarise.. we have appealed against the legitimatacy and fairness of the investigation rather than wait for uefa to review the investigation and judge a sanction on us?

If this is the case then there could potentially be 2 CAS appeals, 1st the above and if CAS side with uefa on the investigation then a second appeal on the sanction imposed.. does that make sense and does my theory have legs? If so it's intelligent of City hierarchy / laywers to drag out proceeding / costs to uefa..
