I think what they have to lose is that if City win then we may very well then start suing for damages which could be huge.

In order to do that we would have to quantify losses which is very difficult to do, ask yourself to quantify our losses? Don’t get me wrong I would love to see us walk away with countless millions from the various anti City media corporations & cartel clubs

Prefer the Tremeloes version

Ah, the Tremeloes. Beneficiaries of arguably the worst ever commercial decision taken in the history of the entertainment industry. In January 1962, Decca records had two bands in their studio for auditions. The producer had only been given enough money to sign one however. He chose the Tremeloes. Ironically, Decca then spent more money on a lavish lunch to placate the manager of the unsuccessful band - a Mr Brian Epstein of Liverpool - than it would have cost them to sign both bands.
A bit of light relief ahead of another day of fretting over disguised owner investment and audited accounts......

If we win we would not sue for damages in my opinion. If we where to have the ability to do that, I think we would attempt to leverage it for a place on the board.

Once on the inside we can then arrange with our friends and other board members how to stop Newcastle. They are attempting to spend money they have not earned and sportingly that is not correct. We need to find a way to stop them as otherwise they will inflate the transfer market to such a level that it makes it tough for cubs who do it the right way to compete!!

classic poacher turns gamekeeper story :)

we should welcome clubs that will break the cartel.

Quite a detailed piece on this website and that time-barred aspect is "misjudged"...

This is a comment on the above article, and not the overall situation as such, for which i'm not qualified to have that type of opinion on.

IF any of the above is true, Or even if it is not true but is legally relevant, and we can't damn well effectively disprove it...

Then we are well and truly totally fucked. We'd be bloody lucky to be able to hope for a 1 year ban at the ultimate best.

Again, i say that as a response to just the article above.
