Only reopened if uefa don’t get their cut ;-)The below is taking from a post a few pages back listing UEFA"s options for reopening cases. If UEFA are going with the line I have highlighted then do dates not go out the window?
3 Cases related to doping, fraud, bribery, corruption or match-fixing offences are not subject to the above limitations and can be reopened at any time.
At face value you're 100% correct. But that's all assuming this is just about UEFA wanting to penalise City over FFP, with FFP being treated solely as a means of financial control with no ulterior motives.I’m not sure UEFA are that arsed about losing. They’ve lost cases at CAS before and don’t appear to give much of a shit if it turns out they got it wrong. Obviously, this is a very high profile case but it’s probably a lot more damaging to us if we lose than it is to UEFA if they lose.
I think what they have to lose is that if City win then we may very well then start suing for damages which could be huge.Yep, I said the other day that this looks like a free swing for uefa. Compared to City they have nothing to lose.
What's PWC ?
If we win we would not sue for damages in my opinion. If we where to have the ability to do that, I think we would attempt to leverage it for a place on the board.
Once on the inside we can then arrange with our friends and other board members how to stop Newcastle. They are attempting to spend money they have not earned and sportingly that is not correct. We need to find a way to stop them as otherwise they will inflate the transfer market to such a level that it makes it tough for cubs who do it the right way to compete!!
To back up Ric's posting of yesterday, without getting too carried away.
A contact has stated this afternoon a hearing which was extremely respectful and also 'very positive'.
I have not spoken to Ric and can be 100 per cent confident this is from a separate source.
That pesky detail does not bother them, they have tebas to get them out of troubleNot sure if this is the right place for this but Barca & RM ask Spanish Government for 200 million euros to pay wages - how would you write this off for FFP?

Prefer the Tremeloes version

we should welcome clubs that will break the cartel. If we win we would not sue for damages in my opinion. If we where to have the ability to do that, I think we would attempt to leverage it for a place on the board.

Quite a detailed piece on this website and that time-barred aspect is "misjudged"...
