They did. I’m not sure there would be a week between communicating the date and the decision itself? Plus you’d have to think that the club and UEFA would be informed first before the verdict was publically announced.

The Club & UEFA are informed before the public announcement, that gives both sides time to absorb and prepare a response. I don't quite understand why CAS would give a heads up about the date the verdict is released though. I can't see any reasoning for it (if true).
