I’d imagine, should we overturn the ban and be exonerated, that will be the end of it. No ‘shitstorm’, no press release, no anything, just a statement of vindication. Everyone’s a winner and we will have joined the Cartel. Hopefully we don’t go ‘full cartel’ and we are not lining up to take potshots at NUFC in 6/7 years, should their investment ambitions be successful.
Pretty much as I see it.

29th June!!!

I am struggling to get my head around the fact that there has not been a single - even tiny - leak on this.

Not especially about the formal verdict - but the levels of confidence of the 2 parties.

There are so many people that will have been involved - they all have families/mates etc. and surely there has had to have ben many conversations where someone has expressed confidence/concern - but nothing....

Seems very strange to me - uncanny even - admirable perhaps, but it goes against simple human nature
I take this a very positive sign, if UEFA had any inclination that it had been upheld then leaks would have been done through the usual American outlets. UEFA roll this way leaking info to chosen media outlets and using them as another way to damaged our image hence the original leak before anything had been told to City. They only keep quite when they have to cover up corruption allegations and other negative reporting on them so I'm very optimistic.

Pretty much how I see it. If it was going the way uefa want some giddy idiot would have tipped off the usual media outlets who would have quoted 'sources'. In some respects it's job done by our enemies - the smear started the second we lifted the fa cup and continued until the dippers got the title off us.

How would UEFA or City for that matter know how is it going? It's sat with an independent arbitrary body who are currently reviewing both sides presentations, there is nothing to leak.

Exactly - there is no decision to leak as yet, at least not from either UEFA’s or City’s sides.

A couple of City sources have leaked a sense of positivity following the hearing, but that’s as much as they’ll know at this stage.

I’ve not read of any leaks - either positive or negative - on the feeling at UEFA following CAS, but I’ll admit I may have missed something in one of the usual ‘City are evil’ tubthumping pieces since the hearing, as I don’t tend to give them the time of day.

But the idea that either City or UEFA are sitting on the confirmed decision without leaking is fantasy. There is simply no decision to leak yet.

Guys, there won't be a leak. UEFA won't know and neither will city, it's 3 highly reputed international judges who are presiding over this not a committee of bureaucrats.

IF we win we should not be INTHE CARTEL as no such thing should exist from then on.

If there was any hint of something negative happening to City the media would be all over it. Been like that since the take over.

Why wouldn’t it?

We might win this case but it’ll be straight back to business as usual with UEFA and The Cartel, as it’s simply City in the dock not UEFA or the Cartel. There’s no real negative implications for UEFA and especially not the Cartel if City win this case. It’s just one thing in a string of them that they’ve failed to pin on us.

There may be a small mark against them but that’ll be forgotten about and never talked about again by them or the media.

Then they’ll be thinking up the next thing to get on us or to hinder us or to enhance them - which will be allowing teams’ historical performances and wins in Europe to allow them to play in the CL even if they finish outside the Top4. There’ll be no more “Top4”, just a group of CL clubs who will be the same year-on-year no matter where they finish in the league. Eventually they’ll be rich enough from the CL to consolidate Top4 for themselves every year anyway, so it won’t matter.
