This all reminds me of a time when we all knew Pep would choose City despite the narrative across football that he would be going to United.
The City fanbase had informed themselves to such an extent on the subject matter because it was in our interests to try and know the pertinent facts, rather than the lazy shit that was being peddled because it kept the masses warm at night.

Hey everyone. I'm sorry but the decision date was put back personally as a favour to me so that I could have 2 consecutive celebration days with my birthday being on 12th. Didn't want to get blind drunk on 10th then have 1 recovery day followed by another go round so thought I'd ask them to put their announcement back a few days so that I could just make it one big party. My sincerest apologies if I've discombobulated anyone,

I thought we would have failed anyway but would have escaped being penalised but for the change in the toolkit?
