Can someone explain why CAS need to tell anyone in advance the results of their deliberation. Like a judge announcing in advance to your lawyer that your getting five years, then your lawyer coming down to the cells to tell you, then you going back up to court to hear a sentence being dished out you already know the details of. All bollocks and speculation this thread.

I doubt it, CAS will probably release the decision to the public/media first thing Monday morning I would assume.

Think City and uefa will find out Friday, gives both a chance to prepare statements for the Monday.

I could be miles off, just think this timeline would make sense.

But every interview so far Pep has talked about Champions League qualification. Even when not asked about it.
I genuinely think he looked down tonight.

They both looked fine to me. Indeed, if I was going to read something into their demeanour- as you apparently did - I could say (equally as ridiculous as your comment) that they were trying hard not to show their delight because they know we’ve won the appeal.

I hope we get off on a technicality, just to boil some piss. People have waffled on about the damage a loss or getting off on a technicality will do to our reputation. That is a load of nonsense. Juventus got relegated due to match fixing, that does not seem to have damaged their reputation too much. We all know what Liverpool fans did at Hysel, yet they are still the media darlings. The narrative is set by the media. In 10 years time, if we continue being successful, it will be our ex players who will be dominant in the media and the narrative will change. There will be no lasting damage to our reputation at all imo.
Even if we lose on Monday, so what? I have read so much nonsense in this thread, with posters even suggesting our owners will be off. In my opinion, it will make them more determined to succeed.
No matter what happens, the club will still exist on Tuesday morning and we will still be in a far better position than we were 15 years ago. They might be able to stop us playing in Europe but they can never take our memories off us.

Some posters are going to have a proper hard-on if we don’t win big on Monday.

Your entitled to your opinion but I've just watched Pep and mahrez interviews and pep looked fine and mahrez always looks a bit miserable. Dont forget it was raining hard so not exactly nice conditions.
We will get exonerated of all charges trust me everything will be ok.

Sorry to disappoint you, in civil litigation (which this is), your lawyers do literally receive the judgment a few days before it becomes public and final in Court. So you might receive an embargoed (by threat of contempt) draft of the judgment on the Monday for it to be handed down in Court on the Friday. In other words, yes the parties find out the result before the public.

In this case, I suspect it will be same so both parties can prepare for the press interest and correct any errors in the draft announcement.
