Unless we play them between now and Monday, i'd agree with that.
Just spoken to someone at City who is involved in the planning for next season and I was told everyone from top to bottom are confident we have done nothing wrong and will be playing in the champions league next season. Nothing new I know, but maybe calm a few nerves as we get nearer the announcement.
They were always going to though, let's be honest!Flippin' CAS, favouring Brighton like that!
Take your shoe laces and belt off and have someone put them safe for youI have know doubt that should the result from CAS come out before we play Real Madrid. If this result is in our favour. Then I am also in know that who ever is the ref in that game plus those who operate VAR, will have been given instructions to make sure that we do not go through to the quarter finals.
One way or another UEFA will make sure that they will end up as the winners. That is either us getting that 2yr ban or them making sure we lose the 2nd leg by 2 clear goals or Real win on the away goals. I will be very surprised if we win both of these outcomes.
Back in the day, when at school and university, I took lots of exams and many of them seemed vitally important in that they generally required a fairly successful performance for me to be able to go forward and do what I wanted to do next. As it turned out, I managed to get through each stage satisfactorily or better, but even when I'd left the exam almost certain of that, based on the way it went, I was shitting myself in the run-up to the results being published.
I don't think there's any surprise in that at all when the stakes seem so high, and they do for City now, as well. It's perfectly natural for fans to be worried as decision-day nears, not least because there's insufficient information in the public domain about the evidence presented at the hearing for anyone to make an authoritative assessment of where things actually stand.
I for one can’t wait to shove this up Tariq Panja’s arse. With pleasure and delight.
