Just one?No doubt end in a penalty to Liverpool.
The only evidence is the stolen emails from Rui Pinto. They have no case and his prosecution could take years..Complex legal cases can take years to pull together. And in this case UEFA have got to road test all their lies and bullshit before deciding whether going after us could result in their ruination or not. I wasn’t expecting anything less than 6 months to be honest
No I was almost 49 when he was bornYou had a son at 50? Cool, am expecting my first child at 46, and thought that was old :)
I know some but not all of the background to this and I think that fine was very harsh. At worst we were a bit negligent and didn't break the amended rules after Dec 2016. Whereas Chelsea ran a coach and horses through the rules, reversed over the corpse then trotted forward again just to be sure.
Did they think that because they came into money before us that they were more accepted by the Cartel?I know some but not all of the background to this and I think that fine was very harsh. Rui Pinto's pre-trial hearing starts in 2 weeks. He is facing 149 charges including attempted extortion of one million Euros. Another charge states he hacked into the computer of the Portugese Attorney General on 307 occasions and interfered in major investigations. UEFA are pinning everything on Pinto. Good luck! This all kicked of on the 23rd June (22 weeks ago) doesn'tsay much for the efficiency of UEFA that they have still not announced a verdict.

No, the owner is the right colour.Did they think that because they came into money before us that they were more accepted by the Cartel?
David Gill ,John Henry and Tom Werner disagree.
I’ve just checked and it appears he’s been on remand since he was extradited, despite a bail application. I’ve also checked online and the applicable custody time limit (ie the length of time he can be imprisoned before the conclusion of his trial) for this alleged offending in Portugal is over three years. That may have served to concentrate his mind towards doing a deal and falling on his sword.Rui Pinto's pre-trial hearing starts in 2 weeks. I think some of the Government hacking he has done involved very sensitive national security issues. He could get a huge sentence. I don't think the City emails are even in the list of charges as they are so trivial. It seems unlikely that UEFA will have even obtained or seen the Der Spiegel emails. City will take UEFA to the cleaners if they take any action. It will be interesting to see what comes out in court. Whether Pinto was commissioned by someone else to do the hacking or if, as has been widely reported in the USA and Portugal, he really is just a lone player with criminal intent. It is unusual for Pinto to get no bail for such an extended period. He is being treated as if he is at the top end of the criminal world. Hacking into ongoing international criminal investigations on an industrial scale and trying to extort one million Euros is about as serious as it gets.I suspect he’s going down for a long time unless he starts to co-operate and name names. I do hope he takes a few people down with him.

If he’s guilty, that would be the logical thing to do on the face of it, as I expect the evidence will be pretty overwhelming, but none of us know the back-story and who is involved in the shadows. That will surely have as much bearing on his disposition towards a plea and any associated co-operation as any of the evidence.Quite possibly. Clearly he isn’t going to get any money out of it and probably substantial prison time instead. There is no upside for him so if he can do a deal to reduce his time inside then he would be mad not to.
Based on what had been said in here (I've not followed the case outside of this forum) I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up like Epstein. If he’s guilty, that would be the logical thing to do on the face of it, as I expect the evidence will be pretty overwhelming, but none of us know the back-story and who is involved in the shadows. Epstein's evidence was stored in his head, not on an already seized hard drive(s).Based on what had been said in here (I've not followed the case outside of this forum) I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up like Epstein.
