I like that about City owners. They are much more aggressive and direct than other clubs towards UEFA bullshit.Well I didn’t expect City to go to CAS before the AC made their recommendations.
Here https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/dis...rolling-body/investigatory-chamber/index.html and then click on "Further Details" link for the PDF...then it is Chapter 3 Articles 37/38 re statute of limitations and time limit.
Our settlement last time was dated 16 May 14 so presume the time-limit was linked to that.
Not really. In PSG case, it went from IC (investigative chamber) clearing PSG of any wrongdoing after the firesale (PSG losing money in the process with selling players under their value like Lo Celso sold for 25 M€ this summer (does not affect the previous 3 year period but show how FFP can be perverse in putting the seller in a weak negociation case) and who is touted for 60 or more now). AC chamber decided on her own to take on the case nonetheless and told IC to investigate more and sanction us. PSG went to CAS to stop AC judgement because of the non respect of their own rule during the procedure (not respecting the time limit). PSG won and the IC jugdement stood.Isnt that what PSG did

Well, even PSG owners don't want to pay this stupid tax. They are rich but they are no fools.Yes, but say Juve or Inter wanted to spend £200m.
Would they then be paying an additional £200m in tax?
Ceferin had better be careful, those Italians know how to get rid of high flying political types
As has been mentioned before including on here, CAS are pretty much only interested to check on whether procedure has been followed, at least at the first hurdle.
But to take this step now, rather than challenging a decision of uefa, is significant for us, and depending on the outcome potentially very significant personally for certain figures within uefa too and football in general. Names don't need to be, and haven't specifically been, mentioned yet, but let's be clear that the gloves are well and truly off and, if successful, this first step could form the basis of a legal counter attack against an organization and individuals who have demonstrated not just a bias against city, but potentially criminal activities within the game.
Let it not be forgotten that we have at last count three separate major legal firms employed to fight our corner on this, we wouldn't need all of them just to bring this sole case before CAS.
Referring back to our last statement on this matter, mentioning irrefutable proof would suggest we are very confident on this outcome. If so, there are some slimy gits about to get theirs and I genuinely think uefa are unaware of the stakes. Here's hoping.
Someone else posted that as well ..the penny just dropped.Still owned by a country I see.
UEFA doesn't care, as long as it doesn't go to civil courts. One thing is for sure either Uefa or us are going to come out of this looking like a right tit, I suspect it will be Uefa.
Blimey. Just went out for a curry, came back and found this shit hitting the fan big time.
