Let’s say we have flouted certain rules regarding FFP.

Now we cannot surely be alone in this, other clubs not currently under or been subject to investigation surely have and are doing the same.i refuse to believe the cartels aren’t doing dodgy stuff to circumvent the rules

We havent they read the stolen emails and realised there was a loop hole that if these emails a real they didnt like! I find it weird that they going of stolen emails to ban us for a year! Bottom line they are fcking k@nts.

This ^^^^ Italian clubs are up to all sorts of tricks... didn’t Roma present the league with Bank guarantees that later turned out to be fake.

Okay i have tweeted Prof. Simon Chadwick who is prof of sports enterprise based in Salford. After reading an article he was interviewed on for goal.com
https://www.goal.com/en/news/footba...rturn-ffp-in-court/1jtln6fw19enj1pwwn7sm11m7t

He has replied stating this is what he believes is happening right now in the game -

And this -

He thinks City are owned by a state.

Not sure how he’s reached Professor level.

The very last point in the memorandum even states:

So after signing that, I don’t see how we could then argue it’s not binding?
The question is - Have UEFA already transgressed the MOU?
If so, wouldn't that make it null and void?

Or to be more precise, by a " tiny oil- and gas-rich state of the Gulf".

"As for documents appearing to confirm that Manchester City (and its Abu Dhabi owners) and Paris Saint Germain (and its Qatari owners) both inflated the value of commercial deals to ensure they were compliant with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules, we knew this already, right? What appears new is that football’s authorities were somehow complicit in helping them."

He bemoans the growing influence of American and Asian owners in Euro football and thinks "London, Paris, Berlin and other European governments" should "change their positions and develop the stomach for a fight", or else "Football Leaks’ regular reports may ultimately become an epitaph on the gravestone of what European football used to be."

His articles could be easily written by an average school-age RAWK poster (except he wouldn't be against American owners).

I think it just highlights where the pressure is coming from towards our club and owners. I dont think any of the articles are negative towards our club. What it states is that the european laws may have to be re-written

What is interesting is that there seems to be a battle going on in the background. The new wealth from taking on the established european wealth. And lets not forget that Qatar are not on friendly terms with our owners and psg owner sits on the UEFA board

The rumours are now that Qatar are looking at the prospect of purchasing Leeds United

PL Man City: Sheikh Mansour, Abu Dhabi
PL Sheff Utd: Prince Abdullah, Saudi Arabia

Rumoured -
PL New Utd: Sheikh Khaled, Abu Dhabi
PL Man Utd: Prince Mohammed, Saudi Arabia

Championship: Nasser, Qatar

Suspect there's a lot of posturing & positioning behind rumours
